Swimming is great way to endurance train, rehabilitate, or interactively play with your dog. All dogs new to us start off with a staff-assisted swim to evaluate the ability of your dog’s abilities.
The underwater treadmill provides limited weight bearing exercise for dogs. The dog is placed in a water filled tank, where the dog exercises by walking, joging or running on the moving treadmill belt.
This is a two-week class for puppies to learn to swim, build confidence, and be socialized to our swim center and grooming services. Puppies will be taught to wear a life jacket, develop their swimming technique, and retrieve toys.
Think Pawsitive follows a gradational program of classes. Courses are cumulative, building towards the ultimate goal of our students attaining the best possible relationship and performance with their dog.
Think Pawsitive offers a multitude of workshops throughout the year. These vary from introductory relationship and skill building for new dog owners to advanced technical handling.
Think Pawsitive hosts a number of agility trials on our indoor turf field every year at our facility for dogs of varying skill levels. The events we host are sanctioned by the USDAA, UKI, CPE and the AKC.
Pawsitive Canine Fitness Club offers structured interaction from our Pawsitive Canine Fit Instructors, providing your dog with one-on-one daily exercise opportunities and learning activities using all the resources our facility offers.
