Buzz’s Memorial Fundraiser
The past few months have been very emotional for Todd and Katie, leaving tremendous heartbreak and emptiness in both of their hearts. They lost their special boy, Buzz to a rapid form of cancer. He was so resilient, that he never showed signs or symptoms until that very day he was ill. A true passion for Buzz was his LOVE for competing in dock diving, and of course entertaining crowds at Pier Pups shows or Basse’s in Colgate. A very special treasure for Todd and Buzz was placing 10th in the Master Division at 2019 NADD Nationals in Orlando, Florida. Flying high was something he not only strived for but truly excelled at consistently with Todd.
His journey started with Katie and Todd, after his mother Kanga whelped her first litter of 8 beautiful puppies in March 2016. Kanga and Buzz were inseparable, although it was Buzz keeping her in line most of the time!
Both Todd and Katie feel very fortunate to have shared the last 5 years of fantastic memories with him. He was a determined soul, always filling our lives with his goofy hillbilly smile, loving hugs, and a joyful attitude. Loyalty was his niche, never wanting to leave our side, always soliciting our attention with his unique CRY!
He was a helper with daily chores at TBE, like: cutting grass, eating breakfast with TBE employees (got to keep an eye on employees…Ha-ha) counting trailer inventory, greeting customers or his favorite, entertaining kids while their parents purchased from TBE. Buzz enjoyed his daily hikes and a great game of Frisbee, distance throws along with some Freestyle tricks kept him enjoying life to the fullest.
