Joan Zelinger is a retired high school teacher who previously taught classes and workshops at Think Pawsitive Dog Training. While she no longer teachers, Joan continues to play a vital role at Think Pawsitive by assisting Katie with writing curriculum, trial premiums, event coordination, and business documents. She is an essential part of keeping Think Pawsitive organized and running smoothly.

Joan has been involved in agility competition and training since 1997. She currently owns four Golden Retrievers: Colter (10 years old), Quinn (6 years old), Rookie (4 years old), and Parker (1 year old). Quinn is actively competing with Katie, while and Rookie and Parker are training with Joan to develop their agility skills. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, hiking and playing interactive games with her dogs. She loves designing and constructing training equipment, toys, and collars for her canine companions.
