This workshop will introduce movement and teeter confidence games. Learn ways to supercharge the fun as well as new board and floorwork exercises to improve your dog’s coordination and comfort with the movement of the teeter. We will use a variety of fulcrum boards to give your dog experience in footwork, weight shifting, and motor planning. This workshop is also useful for teeter experienced dogs who wish to “TUNE-UP” and increase their independence on the teeter.
PREREQUISITE: Dogs must be able to safely perform behaviors off-leash, under control, and have graduated Foundations II (or equivalent) or have instructor approval (please inquire). **Handlers of any level or experience are welcome to audit.
PLEASE NOTE: The use of crates and crate games are a significant part of our curriculum. Both treat and toy rewards are used extensively to reinforce dogs for desired behaviors. No pinch collars, choke collars or flex-leashes are allowed in our facility. The only leash aids that are allowed are a Gentle Leader head halter, Sensation Harness, or Comfort Flex harness.
