Directionals are verbal cues that tell the dog to turn to their left, right, or to drive ahead. These skills are great tools for those currently competing in agility, or those interested in developing more advanced skills for training tricks.
In this workshop, we will start the foundations of getting your dog to turn to their left and right, working up to adding motion in both directions. We will also teach your dog to drive ahead in a straight line with a verbal cue, ‘Go’.
PREREQUISITE: New students are welcome!
PLEASE NOTE: The use of crates and crate games are a significant part of our curriculum. Both treat and toy rewards are used extensively to reinforce dogs for desired behaviors. During this workshop, dogs must use one of the following tools: A Gentle Leader Head Collar, an Easy-Walk Harness, a Sense-Ation Harness or a Freedom No-Pull Harness. No Prong Collars, Choke Collars or Flexi Leashes are allowed in our facility.
WORKSHOP DATE: Sunday, February 27th, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
