Does your dog love to chase or catch a Frisbee™? Are you looking for an outlet or way to release some energy from your dog? Teaching your dog to play Frisbee™ recreationally or to participate in the sport of Canine Disc Dog is a great way to build a stronger bond with them. This workshop will be devoted to teaching you how to get started with building the skills required to motivate your dog to engage with a Frisbee™ and for the sport of Canine Disc Dog. We will help you learn to build drive and intensity in your dog, improve your dog’s responsiveness to Recall, and how to “charge” and throw your disc.
PREREQUISITES: Dog must have toy drive. Please bring a rested dog to this workshop!
PLEASE NOTE: The use of crates and crate games are a significant part of our curriculum. Both treat and toy rewards are used extensively to reinforce dogs for desired behaviors. No pinch collars, choke collars or flex-leashes are allowed in our facility. The only leash aids that are allowed are a Gentle Leader head halter, Sensation Harness, or Comfort Flex harness.
WORKSHOP DATE: Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
