Does your dog love to chase or catch a canine disc (Frisbee™)? Are you looking for an outlet or way to release some energy from your dog? Teaching your dog to play with discs recreationally or to participate in the sport of Canine Disc Dog is a great way to build a stronger bond with them. This workshop will be devoted to teaching you how to get started with building the skills required to motivate your dog to engage with a canine disc.. We will help you learn to build drive and intensity in your dog, improve your dog’s responsiveness to Recall, and how to “charge” and throw your disc.
PREREQUISITES: Dog must have toy drive. Please bring a rested dog to this workshop!
PLEASE NOTE: The use of crates and crate games are a significant part of our curriculum. Both treat and toy rewards are used extensively to reinforce dogs for desired behaviors.
