    Rally-Try-It!

    Come join us for our Rally Try-It event! Learn about Rally, discover the manners needed to complete a novice course and transfer your dog's skills to a short rally course. Experienced Rally Staff will be on-hand to give you tips on how to take your dog’s manners like sit, down, come, stay, and leash walking to the next level. Our Rally Try-It session includes an introduction to rally, tips and tricks to get started, and one-on-one instruction through a novice rally course.
    Prerequisite: Students must have completed a Think Pawsitive Manners class or have instructor approval to participate. Dogs must use one of the following tools: a Gentle Leader Head Collar, an Easy-Walk Harness, a Sense-Ation Harness, or a Freedom No-Pull Harness. No Prong Collars, Choke Collars or Flexi Leashes are allowed in our facility.

  • Rally Games II Class

    $93.75
    Novice Rally Games: Novice Rally Games is geared to take your rally skills to the next level. We will be working more on Rally Novice coursework, perfecting signs #1-#42, and improving your dog's responses to the various obedience tasks required for rally. Build on your manners and Rally knowledge in this interactive course full of paws-on learning. NOTE: Students should have Beginner Rally Games experience, Rally Try-it experience, or instructor approval.

    Advanced Rally Games: Are you looking to take your Rally skills much further? You will evolve your recall, sit, stand, down, and stay foundation pieces by being introduced to Rally Intermediate signs. Each session will expose you to different skill-building exercises and the chance to put them together in various Rally courses. This class is suitable for those who are familiar with all Rally Novice signs.

    PLEASE NOTE: The use of crates and crate games are a significant part of our curriculum. Both treat and toy rewards are used extensively to reinforce dogs for desired behaviors. During this workshop, dogs must use one of the following tools: A Gentle Leader Head Collar, an Easy-Walk Harness, a Sense-Ation Harness or a Freedom No-Pull Harness. No Prong Collars, Choke Collars or Flexi Leashes are allowed in our facility.
    4 weeks - 60 minutes CLASS BEGINS: Thursday, June 9th, 2022 at 5:00 pm - NOVICE CLASS BEGINS: Thursday, July 7th, 2022 at 5:00 pm (3 weeks) - NOVICE CLASS BEGINS: Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 at 6:00 pm - ADVANCED (This Class is FULL!)   • Virtual Rally Trials

    Are you and your dog ready to compete (or already are competing) in Rally? Come join us for Think Pawsitive’s Virtual Rally Trials! One predetermined Novice or Intermediate Rally course will be set up for you to complete with only a leash, flat buckle collar, praise, and your partnership. All run-throughs will be recorded on a device of your choosing (must have HD capabilities), which you can then upload to Youtube and send to AKC to get a leg for your dog’s Rally Novice (RN) or Rally Intermediate (RI) Title.  Groups will be in 30-minute increments with a maximum of 10 dogs per group. A quick walk-through will take place at the start of each group. Each dog/handler team will receive a maximum of 3 minutes to complete their course.

    Prerequisites: Dogs/puppies age 6 months or older that have experience training in AKC Rally. Registration with AKC/Canine Partners is preferred, but can be done post-run.

    Date: Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 (Intermediate at 7:15 pm and Advanced at 7:50 pm) 

    Cost: $10 per run through (Does not apply to AKC leg submission).

We will introduce mini-Rally courses, proof commands and improve your dog’s response to the various obedience tasks required for Rally.  Rally is a relaxed and fun sport to participate in with your dog and this class will teach you ways to enjoy your obedience training!
    PREREQUISITE: Dogs should be able to perform basic behaviors on cue (sit, down and leash walking).  Must have completed Adult Manners or Beginner Puppy School with Think Pawsitive.
    PLEASE NOTE: The use of crates and crate games are a significant part of our curriculum. Both treat and toy rewards are used extensively to reinforce dogs for desired behaviors.
