Pleased to Meet You! is a meet and greet class specifically for dogs that have difficulty socializing and/or display undesirable behavior toward other people and dogs. Whether they present too much enthusiasm or actually do something “unseemly”, this is a great class for any dog owner.

This class is perfect for dogs that display inappropriate behaviors, including:
    • Over-Excitement
    • Jumping
    • Excessive Barking
    • Lack of Focus
    • Shyness
If your dog is overly excited or displays fear-related behaviors, this class will help. It is meant to address inappropriate “meeting and greeting” behaviors that may lead to unpleasant or unruly interactions with other dogs or people. The class will instill a sense of confidence by giving you the proper techniques and mechanics of “dog handling” to help you manage your dog in a variety of situations. You will gain tools and exercises to work on so that your dog responds with proper behaviors when challenges arise. Through in-class demonstrations you will learn to identify when dogs are being friendly and when they are not. NO on-leash greetings will take place in this class. We will work parallel with other dogs, teaching your dog to focus on and pay attention to you.

PREREQUISITES: Must have completed Beginner Puppy School or Adult Manners at Think Pawsitive.
