• Does your dog love toys or already chase a frisbee in your yard and you want to see if you have the next canine disc (Frisbee) star on your hands? Come join our K9 Disc Try-it Night! Experienced and accomplished Disc Dog instructors will be available to give you tips and advice on how to engage your dog, build a faster retrieve, track the disc, and more. Our K9 Disc Try-It night includes an introduction to the sport of disc (frisbee), fun games and tricks to get started, and one-on-one instruction. Discs will be available to try during the workshop and are available for purchase in our retail area. Please bring your own if your dog prefers a particular type.

    New dogs and clients are welcome as well as dogs of any skill level. Puppies under 11 months of age will learn to chase rollers!

  • Come join us for our Rally Try-It event! Learn about Rally, discover the manners needed to complete a novice course and transfer your dog's skills to a short rally course. Experienced Rally Staff will be on-hand to give you tips on how to take your dog’s manners like sit, down, come, stay, and leash walking to the next level. Our Rally Try-It session includes an introduction to rally, tips and tricks to get started, and one-on-one instruction through a novice rally course.
    Prerequisite: Students must have completed a Think Pawsitive Manners class or have instructor approval to participate. We will teach a variety of interactive games, proper reward placement and the mechanics of handling your dog, and transfer loads of value for getting on, over or through various agility obstacles.   • Think Pawsitive’s objective in offering the Junior Handler Bundle is to promote school-age children getting involved in canine training and behavior. Training a dog is a great way to build trust, responsibility, patience, consistency, and other qualities that will help young adults both inside and out of Think Pawsitive.

    Think Pawsitive requires that the child be 10-17 years of age and must be able to handle the dog themselves. Parents and/or Guardian(s) are welcome to attend, but training must be done by the Junior handler for pricing to remain intact. Junior Handlers are aware that Beginner Puppy School or Adult Manners Class is a prerequisite for joining future classes including Intro to Agility, Rally Games, K9 Disc Games, or Nose Work I. One youth/dog team per bundle.

    In order to keep youth and their dogs involved and progressing their skills, our Junior Handler Program is offered monthly and includes an option for your junior to choose from one of our four (4) scheduled 1-hour, 4-week classes of Intro to Agility, K9 Disc Games, Rally Games, or Nose Work I: Intro to Scent. In addition to the classes, members may:

Each month our business runs successful events, trials and activities. This is not achievable without the help of our fabulous volunteers and we are so grateful!
