Mary Ellis-Stigler teaches Rally Obedience, Canine Good Citizen and Adult Manners classes. She applies her expertise as a retired schoolteacher to her instruction at Think Pawsitive. Mary has had a passion for dogs for as long as she can remember and as time has passed, they have become her heart. Mary and her husband Tim have had 6 dogs, all of which have, literally, found them. They have shared their home with 3 Rottweilers, a Yellow Lab, an English Setter and a Miniature Pinscher-Chihuahua mix.
Without exception all dogs need to be loved, exercised, trained, and challenged. Mary has helped each of her dogs find its special niche. The many things they have been involved in include obedience and pet safety demonstrations, rally obedience, agility, tricks training, and therapy work. While Mary greatly enjoys each of these activities, she believes there is nothing better than just being together, walking across the fields, hiking through the woods, playing in the water, and snuggling. These are Mary’s true joys.
